September 2020 - I will be hosting a new month long (actually 5 weeks!) exhibition of my work at the Grace United Methodist Church Art Gallery, 1001 Harvard Blvd, Dayton, OH 45406 (just off Salem Avenue). There will be an artist's reception during the event with light refreshments served. All are welcome! Come see my work and meet me in person. Ready framed prints and cards will be available throughout the exhibition. 


June 2019 - I will be hosting a month long exhibition of my work at the Lofino Gallery, 3868 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432, (Tel. 937-426-6166), open Monday - Thursday 9am - 7pm, Friday 9am - 4pm, and Saturday 9am-12pm. There will be an artist's reception on Saturday June 8th from 10am - 11:30am. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome!


March 2019 - First place award in Photocrowd "Cardinals" contest.


February 2019 - Very honored to say that two of my images has been short listed for Bird Photographer Of The Year. You can see my images here and here. This is a global wildlife photography competition with thousands of entries each year. 


December 2017 - Just heard that my entry in the Black & White Single Image Contest 2018 has been selected for a Single Image Award. This will be published in  Issue #125 of  Black & White magazine, scheduled to arrive on newsstands in early January 2018.


November 2017 - First place award in Photocrowd "Animals" contest.


November 2017 - First place award in Photocrowd "Landscapes" contest.


August 2017 - Image published in the Daily Mail National Newspaper (UK), covering the Bird Photographer Of The Year. The caption read: "Astonishing: A female Cardinal contortio was captured on camera by photographer Gary Cook in Beavercreek, Ohio". See the article here


May 2017 - Black & White magazine - Just heard that my entry in the Black & White Portfolio Contest 2017 has been selected for a Merit Award. Several of my images will be published as a 2-page spread in the Special Issue #122 , scheduled to arrive on newsstands in early June.
